Thinking Theologically with Harry
(the wizard, not the Prince)

They may be a kids’ series, but the Harry Potter novels are full of Christian images and
ideas—and some sophisticated theology! In this formation series, we’ll look at theological themes in Harry Potter, including the notion of "redeemed time," sin, and the sacraments. This is open to anyone, whether young or only young at heart, who is interested in talking about Harry Potter and Christianity. There is no need to have read the books or seen the movies (although "Potter-heads" are also welcome!).

Our facilitator for this series will be Dr. Sarah Borden Sharkey,  sharing something with us that she's been working on for a while. We will meet in Beaudway Hall after the 10am service on September 27th, October 4th, and October 18th (note: no session on October 11th). You can also join us by Zoom.
