Emmanuel Episcopal of LaGrange

The purpose of the Finance/Stewardship Ministry is to oversee the on-going financial well being of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. We focus on the overall monetary giving of the church community which funds the annual budget.

The Finance/Stewardship Ministry directs an overall giving campaign which allows us to set our annual budget.  The Finance/Stewardship Ministry also represents the Endowment Fund and the Memorial Funds. We over see the accounting and the compliance of all the Funds.

The importance of the Finance/Stewardship Ministry is to keep the financial accounting procedures in compliance with the Diocese accounting principles and to ensure transparency of the financial transactions.

The Finance Ministry has many individuals that are involved. Each of the Funds has an individual treasurer. Plus there is a Pledge Recorder and a Parish Treasurer that work closely together and with each of the fund’s treasurers to maintain the integrity of the accounting objectives.
