Sunday February 21: Meet after church at 11:30 in the Swamp until around 1:30. You’re going shopping for the Chicago Food Depository where we will be going in May and then talking about issues that involve hunger and society. See you there!

Did you know?

• Nearly 500,000 people in Cook County turn to the Food Depository and its network of 600 member food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters every year.
• Nearly 95,000 people, enough people to fill Soldier Field one and a half times, turn to member agencies every week.
• Thirty-three percent of persons served are under the age of 18.
• Ten percent are seniors.
• Twenty-two percent live in the suburbs.
• Ten percent own the place where they live.
• Nine percent are homeless.
• Thirty-nine percent of households include at least one working adult.

Friday March 5: Meet at the church at 7:00 to go to Whirleyball in Lombard with the La Grange Methodist Church Youth Group from 8:00 to 10:00. Return to the church around 10:30.

Sunday April 4: Duck out of the 10:00 AM service after Communion and meet in Deadman Hall to hide the Easter Eggs for the younger kids. Nothing else planned, so you will be done soon after the service.

Tuesday April 20: Neighbors in Need at St. Chrysostom’s in Chicago. Expect a 3:00sh leave again, home around 7'sh.

Saturday May 22: Chicago Food Depository. We work 1:30 to 4:30. For now, plan on meeting at the church around 12:00.

June: Helping and/or participating in the Emmanuel Sudan 5k road race
